Carnegie Jazz Ballet was established in 1978 and was run by Jaime (Krischunas) Richmond under the name of Vibe Studios. Vibe Studios has operated from Scout Halls and Church Halls while Jaime had a desire to own and operate a purpose built facility for tuition in performing arts. After many years experience in performing, several years in teaching and a couple of years in operating a dance school, Jaime takes pride in opening the dance and performing arts studio... VIBE STUDIOS.

 Jaime has been dancing since the age of 4. She obtained a Certificate III in dance from Tony Bartuccio's Dance and Performance Centre and she studied dance/drama at Deakin University. Jaime is an Associate in the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (I.S.T.D.)

Jaime has performed locally for the Melbourne Storm NRL team, the Victoria Giants and the South Dragons in the NBL. She was a founding member of FX Entertainment.
 She has performed internationally in Europe and the Philippines with her own Rock Eisteddfod creation. Jaime's passion is dance and performance, and her dream is to share this with others!

Vibe Studios is the newest purpose built dance studios in the eastern suburbs. Our two studios have high performance dance floors. Both Studios are equipped with a Tasmanian Oak hardwood floor well suited to Tap and other classes requiring a hardwearing resonant surface. Both studios have full size mirrored walls and modern sound equipment.
