At Vibe Studios we don't believe in having a set uniform for classes.
Students should be able to show their own personalities through their
style and clothing. However, we do require suitable clothing for dance,
including minimal jewellery and hair out of faces. Students
participating in examinations will require a set uniform.

When you look the part, you feel the part. This is why we suggest
wearing leotards, tights, wrap skirts and wrap tops for these classes.
It is vital for the teacher to be able to see the alignment and shapes
that the student is making. Therefore, baggy clothes are
unacceptable. Ballet shoes must be worn for ballet but bare feet is
acceptible for contemporary. NO Jiffies please as they are slippery and
can be dangerous! Hair must be in a bun for ballet.

Leggings or shorts accompanied with a tank top or leotard is
acceptable. Our teams wear Kaepa Liberty 3 cheerleading shoes. They
provide support for stunting. Teams aged Under 12 and above are
expected to purchace the Vibe Cheerleading uniform for performances and
competitions.

Basically, if you can move and stretch in it, it is acceptable.
Trackies and tank tops are acceptable, but NO denim. It is important to
make sure you can stretch. Runners are recommended footwear. We also
suggest soft knee pads to protect knees during floor work.

Dance pants, leggings or shorts accompanied with a tank top or leotard
is acceptable. Bare feet, foot undies, jazz shoes or jazz runners/boots
are the accepted footwear.

Dance pants, leggings or shorts accompanied with a tank top or leotard
is acceptable. Bare feet is acceptable only for the initial few weeks
then tap shoes are required.

Vibe studios have T-Shirts, tank tops and jackets available to
purchase. These can be worn to class and are compulsory for those
participating in competitions and performances. (not including vibe bi
annual concerts.)
