Jaime Richmond Principal
Jaime's journey in the world of dance began at the age of 3, sparking a lifelong love affair with the arts. She honed her skills and passion, earning a Certificate III in dance from Tony Bartuccio's Dance and Performance Centre, and delving into the realms of dance and drama at Deakin University. Jaime's dedication to dance and teaching led her to become an Associate in the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and a Member of the Southern Federation of Dance. While Jaime's early career saw her shine on professional stages, including performances for renowned sports teams like the Melbourne Storm NRL team and the Victoria Giants, her true calling emerged in teaching and choreography. Transitioning from performing to nurturing the next generation of dancers, Jaime found her purpose in guiding students of all ages, from preschoolers to elite seniors at Vibe Studios. Her choreographic talents have not gone unnoticed, with numerous National-winning routines bearing her creative touch. In 2023, Jaime embarked on a new chapter by leading a jazz and lyrical team to the Dance Worlds, where they clinched 10th place in jazz, showcasing her prowess as a mentor and choreographer. Despite stepping away from the spotlight to embrace motherhood, Jaime's passion for dance and performance continues to burn brightly. Her dream remains unwavering - to inspire and share the transformative power of dance with others, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of her students.
Lauren Kerr
Lauren has been dancing with Vibe since Day 1 in 2005. She began training in jazz, lyrical, hip hop and cheerleading and later added ballet, pom & contemporary. She became an assistant in her second year with Vibe and became a qualified IASF coach in 2009. In 2012, she became our Head Cheer Coach, qualified at Level 6 with the IASF and also holds qualifications with ADA & SFD in jazz. She is passionate about creating a positive, encouraging environment in which her students can grow and develop their skills, not only as athletes but also as people. Her heart and soul are at Vibe & she is always happy to help with any questions that might pop up. She is delighted to have taken home several Grand Champion Banners throughout her career, as well as a National Grand Champion for Vibe’s first Level 5 team in 2023. She is proud of the cheer program at Vibe that she has grown and developed over the last 15 years and is excited to continue this in future years.
Amanda Howard
Amanda began dancing at the age of 4 and later joined Vibe in 2008. Here, she competed on our Open Jazz, Contemporary, Pom and Cheerleading teams. In addition to this, she completed up to her Level 8 SFD (Southern Federation of Dance) Jazz Exam. It was in 2013 when Amanda began teaching for us and realised her true passion - choreographing. As a choreographer, Amanda has produced many award-winning routines at both State and National levels, as well as our very first Pom team to win a Worlds Bid and compete at The Dance Worlds in America. She specialises in teaching Lyrical and Pom troupes, Lyrical solos and Acrobatics for Shooting Stars teams with her ADA (Acro Dance Australia) qualification. In addition to her dance achievements, Amanda holds a degree in Primary Education from Deakin University, where she graduated with High Distinction in 2017. Amanda works full-time at Vibe Studios and is a valuable member of our team.
Rodney Burns
Rodney has been with us at Vibe for several years and has made a significant mark in the cheerleading world over the last decade. As a level 6 tumbling and stunting coach, he has over 15 years of experience coaching athletes of all ages. Rodney's athletic journey began with a black belt in MMA and a world champion title in Extreme Martial Arts at the World Cup in Sydney, where he excelled in Extreme weapons. He also spent over five years coaching both women's and men's Artistic Gymnastics, including working with young athletes aiming for the Olympics. Rodney then moved into cheerleading, where his dedication and skill have led his teams to win more than 10 national championships and a first-place trophy at the Aloha competition in Hawaii. Rodney's diverse skills and commitment have greatly contributed to our community at Vibe.
Nichola Thiedeman
Nichola was introduced to dancing at the age of 7 years old. She is trained in many styles but ballet is definitely her passion. She started competitive dance in 2011 and has been a member of Vibe's competition teams ever since. Through the Southern Federation of Dance, Nichola has completed up to the Elementary level in classical exams, receiving honours with distinction and has also obtained the SFD teachers certificate. Nichola is also Cecchetti trained, still working towards all her dancing exams but has received her first Cecchetti teaching certificate in early 2021. Nichola began teaching in 2015, she has taught from preschoolers right up to the senior age group covering many styles and started teaching troupe in 2020. Nichola is loving every minute of her teaching journey.
Claire Falla
Claire, or ‘Miss Claire’ as she is known, is a highly regarded dance teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching Ballet, Pointe and Contemporary styles. She completed her secondary schooling at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and later gained a Bachelor of Dance at Melbourne University (VCA). Claire has completed her Cecchetti Ballet teacher training to the highest level of the system Fellowship F.C.B.A – C.I.C.B. She was recently selected as a Cecchetti Ballet examiner and is currently completing her examiner training with Cecchetti Ballet Australia. Claire also holds the prestigious Maestro Enrico Cecchetti Diploma Certificate. Throughout her career, Claire has worked with some of the best teachers and choreographers from around the world. With these experiences, Claire brings an extensive knowledge of dance to her teaching and has had many students go on to successful careers in dance here in Australia and overseas.
Sena Tawia
Sena has been dancing for over 20 years. She trained classically in ballet, jazz/funk, contemporary and musical theatre while growing up. However, she found her love of hip hop while in high school and hasn't turned back since. In 2013 she travelled to the United States to live and study dance full-time at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Her professional work includes NBL Melbourne United Dancer, Australian Open, Australia's Got Talent, Everybody Dance Now, Disneyland, Universal Studios Los Angeles and Disney's Anybody Can Dance 2. In 2018, she attended the IASF World Dance Championships in Florida where she placed 4th with her team. Sena holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and a Bachelor of Media and Communication. When she isn't teaching or training, she works as a photographer/videographer and content creator.
Tayla Donker
Tayla started at Vibe in 2007. She has done hip hop, cheerleading, jazz, ballet, contemporary and tumbling over the years she has been at Vibe. She is currently a part of the Level 4 Grand Champion, Pinnacle bid winning team Anacondas. Tayla started assisting in 2017 with the Grand Champion, Pinnacle bid winning team Taipans. Tayla was offered her first fun cheer class in 2018. She now teaches both competitive and fun cheer which she very much enjoys and she cant wait to teach fun and exciting routines to all her students!
Emily Artis
Emily has been at Vibe since 2015 and started cheerleading in 2016. In 2018, she was offered a position as an assistant teacher and started coaching her own teams in 2019. Since then she has coached her teams to become National Champions and won multiple Grand Champion titles as a coach and as an athlete. She recently won Level 5 National Grand Champion with her team, Constrictors. Outside of the gym, she has worked with high schools on their yearly productions, choreographing their shows. Emily has also just graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Criminology. Emily is IASF Level 3 qualified and is excited to continue to grow as a coach and take her skills to the next level.
Steph Coxhill
Steph first started dancing at the age of 5 and has been dancing at Vibe since 2010. She joined our troupe teams in 2016 and is trained in the styles of jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, pom, ballet and acro. She has completed her grade 6 and intermediate Cecchetti exams and had studied and trained 2 years of full-time dance at Patrick’s School of the Arts, and received her Certificate IV in Dance in 2021. In 2018, Steph was crowned as the winner for a piece she choreographed in the Grounded Battle of the Arts Next-Gen competition. She returned in 2019 and placed 3rd. Steph has also performed in many shows and performances with Indefinite Dance Company, a contemporary dance company directed by Casey Chellew including 'Truth or Dare', Masters of Choreography 'Shakespeare Tragedies VS Comedies', VDF, 'Affix', ‘Home’ and ‘All In’. She performed in the 2018 Victorian State Schools Spectacular at Melbourne Arena as an Ensemble Dancer, and in 2019 as a Principal Dancer. Steph became a teacher at Vibe in 2019, she loves sharing her passion for dance with her students and enjoys watching them grow and succeed!
Tahlia Farrell
Tahlia began cheerleading with Vibe in 2011, after training in gymnastics for 4 years. She began teaching at Vibe in 2016 and is USASF qualified to coach levels 1 and 2. Teaching is her passion, and she is currently undertaking a degree in primary teaching at Deakin University.
Christina Crachi
Christina has been a student at Vibe since 2007 and has competed in Hip hop, Pom and cheerleading throughout the years. Currently, she is a part of the 2021 Level 3 Grand Champion team Black Mambas. Christina recently found her passion for teaching cheerleading, where she started assistant coaching in 2020, and tumble coaching in 2021. Christina also holds her Level 1 coaching credentials with IASF.
Hollie Wheeler
Hollie has been at Vibe since 2015 and began competing in All-Star cheer at the beginning of 2016. She has been an assistant coach for the last 3 years and now teaches her own classes as an accredited Level 1 Cheer and Tumble coach. Vibe is one of her favourite places in the world and she thinks Vibe is an amazing place to be a part of.
Jenna Glascott
Jenna, originally from South Australia, discovered her love for dance at the young age of 7. She received training in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, and Contemporary styles. Eager to further her passion for dance after completing high school, Jenna pursued a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Dance) at The Centre of Performing Arts in Adelaide. Seeking to expand her expertise, Jenna then relocated to Melbourne where she studied at Dance World Studios in South Melbourne and earned a Diploma of Dance (Performance). She dedicated several years to teaching and assisting in the management of the dance school before returning to Adelaide. Venturing into a new career in the fitness industry, Jenna obtained multiple certifications from the Australian Institute of Fitness and combined her knowledge from both fields to resume teaching. Jenna's love for teaching and dance led her to Vibe Studios, where she has been a dedicated member since discovering the studio when her second daughter was 3 years old!
Elisha Blood
Elisha began dancing at age 3, training in jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, musical theatre, tap and pom. She has completed full-time dance training with Robbert Sturrock and Part Time Industry course with Kelly Aykers. Elisha has competed in USA IASF worlds 2018 placing 4th and NDA Allstars Nationals in 2017 placing 3rd. Elisha has continued her dancing career in shows/performances including “A Night With Tina”, NBL Melbourne Phoenix dance team, Melbourne Awards 2022,2019 ft Rob Mills, principal dancer in Victorian State School Spectacular and training at BDC in NYC.
Ava Cordingley
Ava has been dancing since the age of 3 when she joined Vibe Studios in 2011. She has been a troupe team member since 2015, currently a member of Vibe’s elite Vega and Blazing Stars troupes. She is trained in jazz, lyrical, pom and ballet, completing all Cecchetti grade-level exams through the years. Ava started the Dance Step assistant teaching program in 2022 and began her teaching career in 2024, she is excited to see where this journey will take her.
Eden Pritchard
Eden began dancing at the age of 3 and is trained in hip hop, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, tap, and pom, most of them at a competitive level. Alongside her passion for dance, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education. Eden has worked professionally with the South East Melbourne Phoenix NBL team as a dancer and has performed at various locations such as the Australian Open, Crown Casino and the Melbourne Arts Centre. Eden is no stranger to the competitive dance world having performed and won many state and national titles in addition to numerous bids to the IASF World Dance Championships in Florida. Returning to Vibe as a former student, Eden is excited to share her passion as both a choreographer and educator. With aspirations to lead troupe classes in the future, she eagerly looks forward to continuing her journey at Vibe, nurturing the next generation of dancers with her unwavering dedication and boundless creativity.
Ashlynn Geoghegan
Ashlynn started at Vibe in 2018 and began her competitive journey in the Senior Level 2 team and is now competing on the open level 5 team. In 2023, Ashlynn started assistant coaching where she found a passion for coaching. She is an IASF-qualified level 1 and 2 coach. Ashlynn loves being a part of Vibe and can’t wait to be able to continue to grow as an athlete and a coach.
Jack Pezzimenti
Jack's journey with dance began at Vibe Studios in 2011 at 11 years old. However, just at 13, Jack was paralyzed from the shoulders down and was told he was never going to walk again. Slowly and steadily, Jack returned to breakdancing and hip hop, shocking doctors as dancing was more beneficial for his recovery. Currently, Jack is on a path to the Olympics. Driven by the recent inclusion of break dancing in the prestigious games, he's training tirelessly, motivated by his love for the art and the dream of representing his craft on the global stage. Beyond competitions and concerts, Jack finds joy in teaching and choreography. His experiences make him a valuable mentor to students, guiding them to discover their unique style and creating unforgettable performances.His enthusiasm inspires students to push their limits and unleash their creativity.
Maddy Sealey
Maddy has been dancing at Vibe Studios since the age of 3 and began her competitive journey in Cheerleading and Dance in 2015. Maddy is currently a member of Vibe’s Open Level 5 Cheerleading team, Constrictors. She is trained in Jazz, Lyrical, Pom, Ballet, and Hip-Hop as well as being skilled in Acro/Tumbling. Maddy was a part of Vibe’s Open Blazing Stars and Open Pom Vega teams and competed in the 2023 IASF Worlds competition in America, placing 10th for Jazz. Maddy is in her final year of completing her Certificate II in dance. She also completed the Dance Step assistant teaching program in 2022 and began her teaching career with Vibe Studios in 2023! She is loving every minute of her dance teaching career and can’t wait for what’s next!
Lisa De Koning
Lisa began dancing at the age of 8 years old. She was accepted into the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and trained there from year 7 to 12. There she studied ballet, contemporary, world dance, jazz, tap and acrobatics. After graduating, she moved over to New York City and trained at the Joffrey Ballet School for three years. Upon returning to Australia in 2016, Lisa started teaching both ballet and contemporary. Lisa has taught a variety of ages from baby ballet all the way up to seniors. She is currently a company member at Victorian State Ballet and is also studying a Bachelor of Food and Nutrition at Latrobe University. Lisa is very excited to be teaching at Vibe and can’t wait to share her passion for dance.
Isabelle Ebbage
Isabelle has been dancing since the age of 3 years old but started at Vibe in 2012. She joined competitive cheer and dance in 2014 . Izzy was a part of Vibe's Open Blazing Stars and Open Pom Vegas teams and competed in the 2023 IASF Worlds competition in America, placing 10th for Jazz. She is currently a member of Vibe’s Open Level 5 Cheerleading team, Constrictors, open Shooting Stars team, Blazing Stars and open Pom team, Vega. Through the Southern Federation of Dance, Isabelle has also received her SFD teachers certificate. And has completed up to level 9 in Jazz exams. She is trained in Jazz, Lyrical, Pom, Ballet and Musical theatre. She also completed the Dance Step assistant teaching program in 2022 and began her teaching career with Vibe Studios in 2023.
Ainsley Heinrich
Since the age of 5, Ainsley has immersed herself in the world of dance, training in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop. She owned her own dance studio for five fulfilling years whilst studying a Diploma of Dance Teaching at Box Hill TAFE, showcasing her dedication to both practical and theoretical aspects of dance education. When freelancing she has guest-taught at various local studios and at Primary and Secondary schools for various school productions, graduations, VCE, and VET dance events. As a former member of the Victorian State Dancers (featured dancer), Ainsley performed in two State School Spectacular performances at Melbourne Park and participated in numerous functions for both government and private industry. Ainsley gained the Southern Federation of Dance (S.F.D) Jazz Teaching Diploma in 2002, and due to her expertise with this syllabus Ainsley began teaching S.F.D Jazz and Classical at Vibe Studios in 2011. Ainsley’s teaching journey over the years has encompassed a diverse range of ages, abilities, and dance styles, with a particular emphasis on refining dance techniques. Ainsley takes immense pride in passing on her knowledge to the next generation of dancers, fostering their growth and love for the art.
Sandi Krischunas Administration/Accounts
Sandi taught mainly preps and grade ones for approximately 20 years at Lilydale West Primary School. In 2004 when her daughter Jaime opened Vibe Studios, Sandi volunteered to take on the relatively easy task of handling invoices and paying the bills for Jaime.....something she did in her 'spare time'. A few years down the track, Vibe grew a bit bigger, so Sandi found a partner and started team-teaching (one week on, one week off) so that she had more time to devote to Vibe. A couple of years later, she retired from teaching and now works full-time for Vibe as Administration/Accounts Manager. She loves her job and the Vibe 'family', and of course, she loves that she works closely with Jaime, even if Jaime is now her boss!
Lisa Kerr Administration
Lisa joined Vibe at the beginning of 2014 as a receptionist at our Bayswater factory. She is a qualified primary school teacher, spending the last 30 years teaching at various primary schools in the local area. Lisa is an original vibe mum enrolling her daughters Lauren and Sarah the day Vibe opened. She absolutely loves the family atmosphere at Vibe and enjoys watching the students reach their full potential. Lisa has completed her Level 2 First Aid training and works as our receptionist.
Emily Reynolds Administration
Emily was introduced to Vibe starting out with tumbling classes in 2022 which led her to start competitive cheerleading in 2023 as a member of Vibe’s Open Level 4.2 team Anacondas. Emily joined the Adult Pom Troupe in 2024 and is currently Cheerleading with Vibe’s Open Level 5 team Constrictors. In 2023 Emily was employed as one of the Receptionists at Vibe. Outside of Vibe Emily graduated from The Australian College of the Arts (Collarts) with a Diploma in Music performance specialising in vocal performance. When she isn’t training or working at Vibe you may bump into her working at a local winery.
Paul Richmond Director
Paul is the Director of Vibe Studios and can’t dance to save himself. He has 15 years of sales and marketing experience in a variety of fast-moving consumer goods businesses including, Carlton & United Breweries, Lion Dairy & Drinks, and Peters Ice Cream. He played a key role in turning the “MEGA” Studio dream into a reality. Paul has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Vibe Studios.
Elise Rule
Elise Rule has been dancing for over 20 years and is trained in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and contemporary. Elise has completed SFD exams in jazz, tap and ballet and trained full-time at Patrick Studios Australia with some of Melbourne's best teachers. Elise has worked professionally at the Annual Crown Palladium Ball, Bollywood film "Me and Mrs Kana" and "Pink Goes Gaga" tribute shows. Elise began teaching dance in 2005 and had fast become one of Vibes most requested teachers! Now, Elise is known as Miss Rule at her day job as a primary school teacher!
Emily Herbert
Emily, a dedicated performer and educator, completed her Diploma of Musical Theatre at Dance World Studios. With a lifelong passion for singing, she has refined her craft under the mentorship of esteemed instructors including Erin Cornell and Callum Warrander, both notable contestants on The Voice Australia, as well as Annika Tregonning, Natalie Gamsu, Anthony Costanzo, David Piper, and Gloden Mercer. In addition to her own training, Emily has been sharing her expertise as a singing instructor for the past four years. With ongoing research of musical and vocal techniques, Emily draws upon her expertise to bring out the best in her students. She uses safe methods, effective vocal pedagogy within a dynamic, supportive environment, whilst fostering personal growth alongside vocal development. Emily is committed to providing a safe and caring approach to her teaching, ensuring her students thrive both vocally and personally.
