We invite you to attend the try out that best corresponds with your age. For instance, if you will turn 8 in 2025, please participate in the Mini Novice try out. You may notice some overlapping age ranges in the schedule. If your age does overlap, we kindly ask that you attend the earlier try out. For example, if you'll turn 11 in 2026, please select the Youth Novice/Youth Intermediate try out over the Youth All Star one. Please note that depending on your performance in the earlier try out, we may invite you to stay for the later session to evaluate your fit for other teams. There are, however, a few exceptions to this rule. These include:

• 2025 Twinkling Stars who turn 5 in 2026 should attend both the Tiny Novice and Mini Novice try outs.

• 2025 Sparkling Stars should attend the Youth All Star Try Out.

• 2025 Shining Stars should attend the Junior All Star Try Out.

• 2025 Flaming Stars should attend the Senior All Star Try Out.

• 2025 Blazing Stars should attend the Open All Star Try Out.

• Individuals may also be contacted to attend an alternate try out than what is listed above.

Additionally, it's important to remember that our Open try out is specifically for our elite Open team, while the Adult try out is designed for those who are either new to dance or returning after a break for family commitments. The expectations and level of commitment differ significantly between these options. Therefore, if you will turn 18 or older in 2025, please choose your try out based on your specific circumstances.
